Welcome to Marsh Junior High!
My name is Kelsey Dickman and I will be your 7th grade English teacher. I will start by telling you a little about myself. Just like all of you, this is my first year at Marsh Jr. Last year, I had the privilege of teaching 8th grade English at Chico Jr. and am very excited to be working with 7th grade this year. I have had the opportunity to work with many grade levels (including 10th and 12th grade English) but have found my true passion to be Junior High students!
As new Gators, we will help and support each other throughout the year. This is a very big step for all of you, and I promise I will help you during the transition. Remember, everyone in our class is new to 7th grade and this campus so we are in this together!
One of the biggest challenges for students this year is keeping track of your assignments for all of your classes. To help you will this, I will be posting your homework, major assignments and many class handouts on this blog. If you miss a day of school or simply forgot what your homework was, this blog will be your handy tool. But remember, your parents also have access to this blog and all of your assignments :)

This is a big step for all of you! Junior High is sometimes an intimidating step for students but with the caring staff at Marsh, your students will be well taken care of.
